This translation is provided for your convenience. If the two versions differ, the French version prevails.

1. Purpose

These terms govern the use of the Ayiru platform, a service connecting entertainment providers (hosts) with customers in West Africa. Ayiru allows spaces, activities, events and equipment to be discovered and booked.

2. Registration

Registration is open to anyone aged 13 or over. Users under 18 (aged 13 to 17) must have obtained prior permission from a parent or legal guardian to use the platform, and any booking or payment made by a minor must be made or authorised by that parent or guardian. An account can be created with an email address, Google or Apple. By creating an account, the user undertakes to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date.

Ayiru reserves the right to suspend or delete any account that does not comply with these terms.

3. User roles

  • Customer: may search, browse and book the services offered on the platform.
  • Host: may create and manage listings (spaces, activities, events, equipment) and receive bookings.

4. Bookings

Every booking made on Ayiru forms a commitment between the customer and the host. The customer undertakes to comply with the specific conditions of each service (opening hours, capacity, rules of use).

5. Payments

Payments on Ayiru are made through Mobile Money. The customer makes a deposit to the number given by the host and provides the deposit code for validation. Payment is confirmed once the listing manager has verified it.

Prices shown on the platform are in CFA Francs (XOF) and include all applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.

6. Cancellations and refunds

Cancellation and refund conditions are set by each host for their own services. Customers are invited to read the specific conditions before booking.

In the event of a dispute, Ayiru may act as a mediator to help the parties reach a resolution.

7. Liability

Ayiru acts as a technology intermediary and cannot be held liable:

  • For the quality of the services provided by hosts
  • For damage occurring during the use of the spaces, activities, events or equipment booked
  • For disputes between hosts and customers, although we undertake to help resolve them

8. Intellectual property

All elements of the Ayiru platform (logo, design, text, code) are protected by intellectual property law. Any unauthorised reproduction or use is prohibited.

Hosts retain ownership of the content they publish on the platform (photos, descriptions) and grant Ayiru a licence to use it as part of the service.

9. Changes

Ayiru reserves the right to change these terms at any time. Users will be informed of any significant change. Continuing to use the platform after a change constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

10. Contact
