Account deletion

Request the deletion of your account
You can delete your Ayiru account and your personal data at any time, directly from the app:
- Open the Ayiru app and log in.
- Go to your profile, then to Settings › Security.
- Tap “Delete my account” and confirm.
If you cannot access the app, you can also send us your deletion request by e-mail at contact@ayiru.com from the address linked to your account.
Data deleted
When your account is deleted, we delete or anonymise your personal data, in particular:
- Your name and profile picture
- Your e-mail address (anonymised and made unusable)
- The content of your messages
- Your sessions, sign-in methods (Google, Apple) and notification tokens
Your access to the account is revoked immediately and your listings (if you are a host) are deactivated.
Data retained
Some data may be retained in anonymised form where the law requires it, in particular data relating to bookings and payments, for accounting, tax and fraud-prevention purposes, for the applicable legal period. That data can no longer identify you.
Processing time
Deletion takes effect immediately when carried out from the app. Requests sent by e-mail are processed within a maximum of 30 days.
